Welcome!

When people commit serious crimes, they go to prison. Most of the time, society feels that the story ends there, but that’s really not the case. For a lot of these confined criminals, their time in jail is temporary, and sooner or later, they will rejoin the world we all inhabit. These convicts are then expected to live new lives where they must navigate ways to abide by the law. So how do they learn to live this way?
This blog is here to start a conversation. Specifically, start the conversation about how to help these former convicts put criminal activity in their pasts. How do we bring them back into sync with our communities? Does their reintegration start during their time in confinement, or when they get out? Can juvenile delinquents be guided toward lives that don’t have constant involvement with the Criminal Justice System? These are just a few of the questions that need to be answered. So come, join us now in our conversation as we continue to explore the issue that is Criminal Rehabilitation.
